Spring is coming...and it's time to relax

This spring/summer we are seeing a very relaxed and laid back style emerge. Oliver Spencer is focusing on the open sea and a nautical inspiration. While designers like Roen are playing on the 70's lifestyle of enjoyment and partying.

Acne is also hanging loose with the gladiator sandal (please don't use socks with them), while Jil Sander is bringing us the over-sized tote bags. Don't despair, fashion houses everywhere are flooding us with tote bags. So there's no need to pay $975. But if you were, Jil Sander should be on the top of your list.

But my main focus will always be on shoes. And I'm seeing light suede shoes everywhere this spring. But beware, the lighter the shoe, the harder it gets to keep clean.

Below are some of my suede favorites this spring:
Cole Haan Dark Suede Lace Up. Available at colehaan.com

Acne Jeans Dune Cow Suede Lace Up. Available at Revolve

Custom Leather/Twine Boat Shoe by Band of Outsider. Available at Eluxury.com
Alexander McQueen Plain Toe Blucher. Available at Couture.Zappos.com

Suede Desert Boots by Common Projects

David Sand Leather Oxford Shoe by Paul Smith. Available at my-wardrobe.com

Every one needs some color too this spring. Try Miller Lace Up Red Brogue by Paul Smith
Or a little blue by Alberto Fasciani. Available at maisonipi.comAlberto Fasciani Suede Tassel Loafers
